We are looking for a Head of Finance to own all things finance, compliance, and governance across our fast-scaling multi-entity structure. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring someone who can design systems, ensure compliance, and provide insights that directly drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Systems & Controls
Build and implement scalable financial processes to handle multi-product, multi-currency payment flows.
Manage accounting complexities across different fee structures, reconciliations, settlement models, and product-specific treatments.
Automate reconciliation of transactions across acquiring partners, banks, and internal systems.
Deliver real-time insights into revenue, costs, margins, and profitability with granular filters (by geography, payment method, entity, etc.).
2. Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and statutory filings across multiple entities:
US Corp, India Pvt Ltd, UK Pvt Ltd, US LLC, and 2x India LLPs.
Manage cross-border ownership filings and compliance with FEMA, RBI, SEC, HMRC, and other jurisdiction-specific regulations.
Partner with auditors, tax advisors, and legal teams to ensure timely filings and clean audits.
3. Strategic Finance & Expansion
Partner with leadership to shape pricing, margin structures, and unit economics.
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
Innovate on how xPay can add new features and payment methods, ensuring compliance with country-specific payment laws and cross-border regulations.
Deep dive into global money movement mechanics to enable expansion into new geographies.
4. Leadership & Team Building
Build and mentor a lean but high-impact finance team.
Drive a culture of ownership, accuracy, and speed within finance.
Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on financial decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
CA with 5–8 years of experience.
Strong background in fintech, payments, or high-volume transaction environments.
Hands-on expertise in multi-entity accounting, reconciliation, and cross-border compliance.
Experience working with auditors, regulators, and statutory bodies across India, US, UK.
Ability to balance detail orientation with strategic thinking.
Strong bias for automation and systems-driven finance.
Comfortable operating in high-growth, fast-moving environments.
